Vanderbilt Tau Beta Pi, The Engineering Honor Society is excited to bring you the award-winning Engineering Futures series which aims to provide training in "soft skills" to engineering students. The first of the series will be the Analytical Problem Solving module which discusses solving problems in a team environment.

Description:

The Problem-Solving Process
Learn a structured process for problem-solving. Each step of the process requires two basic activities in order to perform it successfully: (1) generating ideas through brainstorming and (2) choosing the best idea to implement.

Identifying and Implementing the Problem Solution
Learn how to reduce a list of potential solutions and selecting the best idea(s) using specific evaluation techniques. Learn techniques to facilitate decision-making.
